Spearhead Staffing is seeking an IT Project Manager with full cycle project management experience for a contract role in Wayne, NJ. PMP certification mandatory. Must have full lifecycle Project Management experience to qualify. This W2 contract role pays between $50-60/hr depending upon years of experience. NO c2c.

The Project Leader will manage system projects, perform system analysis functions and assess new system solutions for organizational needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•    Lead projects as assigned by the project manager.  This includes full responsibility from analysis to implementation of the project.  Ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner and that commitment is made on the part of the project team members.
•    Report on progress of projects to management.
•    Coordinate with the users to test new applications/solutions and report any problems to ISD or the vendor.  This includes Release and Conversion testing.
•    Analyze user requests and document their needs.  Make recommendations for new solutions or replacement of existing systems based on the needs of the bank.
•    Contact vendors to coordinate presentations of new products. Analyze the products and make recommendations to implement the new products.
•    Provide post-implementation support once a project is implemented.
•    Communicate with the users to inform them of system enhancements.
•    Provide back up to the Project Management Manager in their absence.
•    Provide guidance and mentoring to Project Leaders and others within the department.

Required Skills:
•    Must possess good time management, multi-tasking and stress management skills to be able to ensure that tasks are completed consistently in a timely manner.
•    Good team work and leadership skills are essential in order to motivate different groups of people.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel and Project.
•    Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience:
•    Bachelor's Degree from four year college or university and a minimum of 4 years related Project Management experience.
•    Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management certificate or Certified Associate in Project Management required. MUST HAVE for this role.
•    MUST HAVE Full Lifecycle Project Management experience.
•    Banking experience preferred.
•    Six Sigma a plus.
